How I fixed my kitchen tap issue in Livingston

I noticed my quooker nordic round acting up one early day and decided I needed a proper fix fast, especially after a small leak turned into a constant drip.

It happened right after a visit to Almondvale Shopping Centre, and I remember thinking how inconvenient it was to come home to a leaking tap. Living in this part of West Lothian, I needed something reliable without too much delay.

I first heard about the service through a forum post, and after browsing a bit, JRW Kitchens stood out in a fairly reassuring way. I sent a few images of the issue and got a quick response. Booking was easy enough, quooker hot water tap and I appreciated not having to chase anything.

On the day, the technician arrived as expected and got straight to work. He began with a quick tidy up of the area before moving on to sanding to smooth things out. There was a small section that needed minor filling, which he applied neatly. What impressed me was the effort in blending the colour, as it didn’t look patched at all. The blending process was done with precision, and after that, everything was buffed to a clean shine. Throughout, he explained things in a clear way, which made the whole experience feel reassuring. There was no rush, but it also didn’t drag on, which I appreciated.

By the end, the repaired area looked as good as new, and the issue that had been bothering me was completely gone. I liked the simplicity of having everything handled at home, and the turnaround was efficient. That said, it felt best suited for small repairs rather than major overhauls. Still, for what I needed, it worked out perfectly fine, and I’ve had no problems since.
